A New Patio & Pergola – Guest Post by Courtney Prouty

When my husband and I bought our new home, we had a great backyard that had a lot of potential but not a lot of personality. When it came to landscaping design, we had an idea of what we wanted to do, but we weren’t really sure where to begin or which landscaping company to use. A Google search led us to Bulldawgs Lawn Care in Augusta, and we met Dustin, who worked with us to come up with a simple but beautiful plan to extend our patio. Dustin’s team was able to utilize our (very small) existing patio, add a pergola, extend the patio in a cool, modern rounded design, and surround it with paving stones. Then the concrete was stained to give it a rich, polished look.

The patio and pergola that Bulldawgs created in our backyard turned out to be affordable, beautiful, and so functional. We now have a little outdoor oasis that we can enjoy for most of the year (in Augusta, GA at least 9 months out of the year are warm!). The patio is now like an extension of our home, where we can go relax with a glass of wine, eat dinner, play with our son, or entertain friends.
